Tipps beim Chatterbait Angeln - so führst du deinen SCORP Chatterbait

The SCORP is a high-frequency chatterbait, also known as a spinnerbait. When retrieving the lure, the small spinner blade is set into a motion that is especially attractive to perch. It is important to use the right trailer. For this, we developed the PHOX – a pintail soft bait that perfectly complements the SCORP. A paddle tail bait can disrupt the rotation of the spinner blade, so a pintail should definitely be used as a trailer.

Use these two techniques to get the most out of the SCORP:

  1. Steady Retrieve: Let the lure sink to the bottom and then retrieve it steadily. In winter, you should reel it in as slowly as possible, just enough for the blade to still vibrate – you can clearly feel this in the rod. This achieves a realistic and effective presentation.
  2. Jigging: Let the lure sink to the bottom and jig it with one to two turns of the reel. Let it sink again repeatedly in between. This technique especially activates perch that stay near the bottom during winter.

Try these techniques and increase your catch chances with the SCORP chatterbait.
